Lush courtyard, gorgeous location, impressive restaurant
The shower design could use curtains to prevent flooding!!! Parking was a hassle due to limited availability and busy street traffic, making luggage unloading quite inconvenient. Charging $25 for a broken soap dish seems excessive when considering quality!!!

Charming Stay with Local Flavor
My friends and I enjoyed our six-night escape, embracing the local culture. The pool area felt like a private oasis, and the dining experience was delightful, especially the seafood tacos! Javier’s insights on the best local spots made our trip special. Pro tip, pack earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise!

I loved staying at El Encanto Inn & Suites. The charming boutique hotel created a tranquil atmosphere right in the heart of San Jose. Friendly staff made us feel welcomed from the start. The pool area was a perfect spot to relax after our daily explorations of local restaurants and shops. The room was cozy with comfortable beds, though we noticed that the bathroom could use a ceiling fan for ventilation. Conveniently, countless dining options were just a block away. However, the noise from nearby bars could be a bit loud at times, especially at night. It’s essential to be prepared for that if you need a good night's sleep. While there were minor inconveniences, like limited parking and occasional noise disturbances, these did not overshadow the overall enjoyable experience.

This charming place was fantastic for our family getaway. We explored the vibrant plaza nearby, where locals and tourists mingle to enjoy the lively atmosphere. The staff made sure our stay was comfortable and memorable, especially traveling with a small baby. The gardens felt like a mini paradise.
In my wife’s opinion, a baby-friendly dining option for breakfast would be appreciated. Access to snacks or light meals without heading out would make things easier for families.

I recently stayed here for a week and loved how the king suite had a great view of the pool. I totally enjoyed the outdoor pool and the relaxing massages available right at the hotel. The only small downside was the room felt a bit pricey, but it was worth it for the stay! 😊
